About Toiletpaper Magazine

Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari launched TOILETPAPER Magazine in 2010. It has been named a top 10 Photobook by The New York Times, and has expanded in scope, to include billboards on the Highline in NYC and a pop-up shop in Milan. In a 2017-18 exhibition at the Galerie Perrotin Tokyo, the duo used gilded mirrors and appropriated images from magazines & the internet to explore the phenomenon of art history in consumer culture.
