Detour

To detour means to change course. We do this often while traveling by car, bike or foot, monarch butterflies do so in flight during migration. While we usually avoid detours, they can also offer the opportunity to discover something new and unexpected. Here, in celebration of the circuitous, playful detours of creative exploration, we’ve joined the distinctive silhouette of the Monarch butterfly with this common road sign.
